I also go by Liv, unless you’re my doctor, who calls me by my full name like I’m in trouble even though I quit smoking years ago. Or my dad, who called me Buka (“buck-uh”) for no reason other than I “looked like a Buka” when I came out (?).
I grew up in a small town north of NYC, moved to the city for college, and stayed for over a decade before I got the nerve to leave.
I’ve worked in film and TV marketing and content development in some form or another since my junior year of college and still love it for some reason.
When I’m not trying to entertain you, I’m with my insane dog, probably listening to some godawful true crime podcast or watching Bravo. A few years ago, I watched a different documentary every morning for about a year and it was in the midst of my ad hoc nonfiction education that I decided to go back to school for criminal justice and do what, I have no idea yet. My real dream is to go to school forever and write three-star mystery novels while consulting on Forensic Files. We’ll get there.
A few caveats if you’re looking to work together:
I join projects based on my current freelancing schedule (inquire within!).
I thrive in the trenches—pull me out of the creative process and watch me wither away.
I love to figure out the STORY of what we’re trying to make, sell, market—it’s a puzzle that makes my brain itch in the best way.
